Co-founded by Chris Barnette and Cheryl F.C. Ludlam, both South Carolina licensed residential builders and Charleston locals, Rising Tide Homes is a proud affiliate of Southern Shores Real Estate Group started in 2006. Together with a team of design consultants, construction crews, project managers, warranty specialists and sales agents, Rising Tide brings over 100 years collective experience in new home construction and sales to our ever-growing family of customers and clients.
We have built homes throughout the Lowcountry region, including Charleston, Johns Island, James Island, West Ashley, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties. We have built a solid reputation one home at a time with unparalleled teamwork and dedication to all phases of homebuilding, including design, materials selection and construction.

Ryan Cabanting serves as the Project Coordinator and Site Manager for Rising Tide Homes. He has been in the Real Estate business for 4 years and has been in construction for about a year. Ryan loves being able to watch a property go from dirt to a beautiful, finished home. He is an efficient professional who oversees each home from start to finish with attention to detail. Brock Hall serves as the Marketing Director for Rising Tide Homes and its affiliate, Southern Shores Real Estate Group. Brock has 10+ years experience in the real estate industry with a strong background in operations, administration, and marketing and promotion. Having purchased a new construction home herself and seen the advantages first hand, she is excited about sharing the unique, beautiful, and quality homes built by Rising Tide with home buyers all over the Lowcountry.

Briana Buckhalter has been behind the scenes with Marketing in the Real Estate/New Home Construction side of the company for 4 years now. She loves the process that goes with promoting our wonderful homes. Being able to share it with everyone in a fun, interesting way is her passion. Briana believe our clients need to know that Rising Tide is not a cookie cutter company, but a semi-custom builder who clings to the clients needs.
